So this started out as an attempt to boost my confidence…

but now I’m beginning to think that it may also help me decide on a career path. I’ve always had the military in my mind and now, with adulthood fast approaching, I’m beginning to give it some serious consideration. I don’t know if I could ever actually harm someone if it came to it, but there are other parts of the military.

I’m considering it. Now I just need to find a college with the proper ROTC program as well as a yearbook since that is also very important to me.

We’ll see how this progresses, but if i’m going to be able to make it into the military, I’ll need to be in much better shape.

This summer, when there’s plenty of time to exercise and truly commit without distractions, I’m going to make myself the fittest I’ve ever been. Because it’s never been about the bikini season to me, it’s always been about being healthy.

Gotta commit soon.

Today, March 1st, is Self-Injury Awareness Day.

Myth: People who cut and self-injure are trying to get attention.
Fact: The painful truth is that people who self-harm generally do so in secret. They aren’t trying to manipulate others or draw attention to themselves. In fact, shame and fear can make it very difficult to come forward and ask for help.

Myth: People who self-injure are crazy and/or dangerous.
Fact: It is true that many people who self-harm suffer from anxiety, depression, or a previous trauma—just like millions of others in the general population. Self-injury is how they cope. Slapping them with a “crazy” or “dangerous” label isn’t accurate or helpful.

Myth: People who self-injure want to die.
Fact: Self-injurers usually do not want to die. When they self-harm, they are not trying to kill themselves—they are trying to cope with their pain. In fact, self-injury may be a way of helping themselves go on living. However, in the long-term, people who self-injure have a much higher risk of suicide, which is why it’s so important to seek help.

Myth: If the wounds aren’t bad, it’s not that serious.
Fact: The severity of a person’s wounds has very little to do with how much he or she may be suffering. Don’t assume that because the wounds or injuries are minor, there’s nothing to worry about.

Daily reminder that anyone who needs to talk can come to my ask.

Tomorrow will be the first day of my Skinny Girl Diet.  I weighed myself yesterday so I know where I’m at and I will weigh myself the day after the last day of the diet.  I might continue to do the diet over and over again but gradually up my calories until I reach my goal.  Let’s go!

I am completely appalled by how terrible of an idea this is. Seeing diets that promote anorexia and other extreme calorie counting are not going to help you lose weight and are bad for your health.
So to anyone who sees this, please don’t do it.

This is not good, at all. Your body is NOT going to run on 300, 400, 500 calories just because you want it to. Your body NEEDS food to be your fuel. You can’t fill up a gas tank with water and expect it to run. You can’t eat 700 calories a day forever, make your diet a healthy lifestyle change instead of trying to lose “quick weight” by eating less than 800 calories a day. It’s extremely unhealthy, and I’d be happy to give anyone a meal plan to the best of my ability that wants to lose weight but is trying to lose is in an unhealthy way like this.

Normally, i do not post things like this, but I am encouraging everyone who sees this to see it as a guideline for the amount of calories you should burn from exercising not from anorexia. Always remember that the minimum number of calories the body should get a day is about 1200.
Keep Strong everyone!

Who needs ice cream when you can have frozen bananas? My family enjoyed these delicious treats for desserts!
2 bananas
Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt
chopped almonds
cinnamon
Line a tray with parchment paper.
Mix the Greek yogurt and cinnamon together.
Peel the bananas.
Cut off an end from each banana, then insert the popsicle sticks.
Coat the bananas in Greek yogurt and almonds.
Lay the bananas on the parchment paper and freeze for 45-55 minutes. The bananas will be creamy and firm, but not completely frozen.
